Anamorphisms
Over the years I’ve been fascinated by perspective — how where you are completely determines and changes what you see and what you interpret about the reality in which you live. This has metaphysical consequences, but has also had my eye on how deeply perspective can influence artwork. This has had me interested in forced perspective paintings, or anamorphisms, where the perspective point greatly influences the work you see. The viewer’s perspective can no longer be taken for granted. Below are explorations of my work in this area.
